Mission & Objectives
MTÜ Drone Club exists to grow the next generation of drone engineers — through education, research, and real collaboration with TalTech and the wider industry.
01 — Our Mission
MTÜ Drone Club is a nonprofit organization focused on advancing education, research, and development in the field of drones and unmanned aerial systems. The organization supports students in developing practical engineering skills through projects, laboratory work, workshops, and competitions. It also promotes collaboration with universities, laboratories, industry partners, and the wider community to advance the field of drone technology.
02 — Objectives
Advance Drone Education
Support students at Tallinn University of Technology in developing practical engineering skills through hands-on drone design, assembly, flight testing, and competition projects.
Drive Applied Research
Conduct research and experimental development in unmanned aerial systems, including autonomous navigation, payload integration, flight control systems, and dual-use UAS technologies.
Foster Collaboration
Build meaningful partnerships with academic institutions, research laboratories, and industry partners to create real-world opportunities for students and advance drone engineering.
Promote Drone Technology
Raise awareness about the possibilities of drone technology through public demonstrations, competitions, events, and community outreach programs across Estonia and beyond.
03 — Core Approach
Build
Design, test, and improve drone hardware and software through student-led projects — from fixed-wing and multirotor platforms to VTOL systems.
Cooperate
Work with TalTech laboratories, external partners, and industry to tackle real UAV engineering challenges and produce results that matter beyond the club.
Teach
Share knowledge through peer mentorship, workshops, and hands-on training — making drone engineering accessible to every motivated student.
